REMEMBER TO BREATHe
Tactical Breath is a technique used in the military to regain control of your body during critical situations, and those bendy people use it in yoga too. A big part of mental resilience is knowing how to maintain your calm and boost your concentration and focus.
Watch the video as Louise from our team explains the technique.
THE BOTTOM LINE
Whenever you are under emotional or physical stress, stop and take a Tactical Breath. It will increase your body’s blood oxygen levels and interrupt your brain’s fight-or-flight stress response.
FINDING IT HARD?
Count the 4-7-8 at your own pace if you struggle to hold it for 7, don’t. Aim to exhale twice as long as the inhale and a deep breath from the diaphragm.
Take a Tactical Breath. It's simple and effective, and it's helped thousands of people raise their resilience.
