The HUMAN COST
Anxiety disorders are the most common mental health conditions in the UK, affecting millions. 23% of our 4,000+ participants showed severe anxiety levels that would typically trigger GP referral to specialist services, yet they were functioning in workplaces and communities without support.
RESULTS IN UNDER 12 HOURS
Our core programme shift in people’s anxiety levels is both significant and exciting. 23% of people showed signs of moderate or severe anxiety before the programme. This number was reduced to 11% as a result of the programme.
Our Measurement Approach:
– 4,000+ participants across organisational programmes (2015-2023)
– Sectors: Public sector, finance, retail, healthcare, emergency services, schools, charities
– Validated anxiety assessment tools used in health services
– Pre and post-programme measurement
WHAT THIS MEANS (if our sample is representative)
For Individuals: Nearly 1 in 4 people attending our programmes were experiencing anxiety at levels requiring specialist support, yet they were functioning in workplaces without intervention. The skills-based approach reduced this to 1 in 8, meaning hundreds of participants moved from clinical anxiety to manageable levels.
For Organisations: If 23% of your workforce has severe anxiety, the impact on:
- Decision-making quality
- Team collaboration
- Customer service
- Innovation and problem-solving
- Absenteeism and presenteeism
- Staff retention
…is significant. Our corporate clients see this translate to £3.28-£56.80 ROI per £1 invested.
For Society: Extrapolated across the UK population (70 million people), a 52% reduction in severe anxiety could impact 8.4 million people. Reducing NHS burden, improving workplace productivity, and enhancing community wellbeing.
12.8 million working days are lost every year, resulting in fundamental challenges around mental health, productivity & wellbeing. We believe that we have the ability and an obligation to help."
